Yes, Iron Man 2 sucked.
These days, Hugo and I are gearing up to writing a serious paper/pamphlet/book. Our aim is 150 pages.
My problem has been that the relentless assault on America as left me breathless, and for the past 2 months, I have purposely been trying to shake off the blog mindset. There’s doing too much, keeping us too occupied, and there’s greater work to be done by most of us, I think — and it is very, VERY hard to try not to have an answer for what they do daily.
And so I’ve calmed down.
Meanwhile, my admiration for many who plug away has grown. I pray for them.
I pray for us.
I pray for America.

This site is dedicated to those who lost their lives on 9/11 and the countless Americans who dedicate their lives, their work and their voices to a cause that the President of the United States seeks to silence by condoning the words “War on Terror.”
This site is dedicated to the children in America that are being steeped in our cultural values and to the families that raise them.
May God bless them as they fulfill their duty as American citizens. May they help our nation become wholly Christian again, for God’s greeater glory. Amen.

These days, I’m hanging @VidaEstrada on Twitter. Haven’t had the time to post, but I go there to muse and connect. I don’t know for how long, tho. There is serious work to be done.
I’ve changed the name of my site to The Dispatch, because since we’ve started our research, this whole thing has taken a life of it’s own. And it’s meant for the American public. To use as a means to revive the American Dream, live our democracy.
Hey. It’s no big deal. I’m a teacher. I teach. And I learn. And I’m a passionate American. And I want to teach you what I’m learning .. what I know about the country I so desperately love.

About this site.
I hate lies. Whenever lies are being fabricated, one should speak the truth. It is the duty of a vigilant citizenry.
I try to provide brief, original, thoughtful analysis from a conservative viewpoint .. because I have a right to do so, as much as you do.
I trust my conservative judgement as you should trust yours. For this reason, I hunt down and list primary sources as often as I can.
I read and decipher.
I distill so you can discern.
My Purpose
This site is evolving.
My objective is to build a stronger conservative base among my immediate circle of friends and family.
I do this by learning as I trawl the net, pour over periodicals, read & discern, discuss & debate — sometimes online — but typically with my husband, a wise and staunch conservative to whom I give much credit for honing my skills.
I envision a “clearinghouse” of sorts — providing relevant news and information, with brief and pointed commentary. I envision quickly documenting everything I read, every page I touch .. I am still picking a blogging theme to quickly accomodate this. Yes.. I’m having trouble, but I assume this problem will abate with experience.
I have begun many blogs, all of them abandoned after one entry, usually. This time, however, I have a refined purpose, a devotion to what I am profoundly passionate about — God and country.
I love to study theology and all things American.
I love to consider and discuss.
Occasionally, I will ramble.
Somewhere down the line, I will take those sort of verbose musings and move them to a separate blog, leaving the rest of the conservative resources and political commentary under a different site name.
I have a name in mind, and that will progress soon enough.
I am a Catholic, but not a Catholic-American (I don’t believe in hypenated prerequisites to being American), a full-blooded American, a devoted wife, a stern but fair and doting mother of many children, an English school teacher and an editor .. which explains my scattered penchant of observing, noting and pondering everything.
I don’t want to be a jack of all trades and a master of none — so my intent is to be a responsible American citizen and learn and understand all I can, to ultimately be the mediator for those who want to understand, but don’t.
That is the ruling matrix for this site.
